Sri Lanka is the secret

beaches, verdant vegetation, ancient monuments and a
thousand delights to please all tastes.
Sri Lanka is
the world's leading producer of high quality tea, which
is there main economic export. The sea is wonderfully
warm and clear and its a joy to watch the local fisherman
set out their nets and pull in their catch to the beach
every morning. You will find the beaches are lined with
little restaurants and houses nestled into the palm
and coconut trees.

with Sri Lanka. The average air temperature never drops
below that of 75F with peaks in the 100F.
You can do lots more in Sri Lanka than just surf, why
not try Scuba Diving the best months are November to
April and there are a number of qualified PADI instructors
at Dive schools in the area. Snorkeling equipment can
be hired throughout the Island and Glass-bottomed boats
can be rented to explore the marvelous reefs.
Bikes
can be hired or tuk-tuks will take you through the myriad
of dirt roads through lush foliage, rice fields and
villages. Extensive wildlife and beautiful surroundings
offer many experiences and with world class surf what's
holding you back from the experience of a life time.
The lifestyle
on the island is fairly slow-paced, and as the Sri Lankans
don’t have a strong tradition for going out to
eat, most of your meals will be taken in your hotel,
where you might like to sample some of the local specialities,
including a selection of curries, tropical fruit and
a strong drink called Arrack.
On the transfer to your accommodation you will be given an orientation in general about the country with special emphasis on the do's and don'ts etc. At Hikkaduwa on the first day one of our surfing representatives will show you around the area up to Mirissa region familiarising you with all the Surfing points and we will provide you with a map with all indications of surf spots. |
