Ethiopian Airlines has announced an expansion of its Manchester to Addis Ababa service, increasing frequency to daily flights from 3rd July 2025. This enhancement strengthens connectivity between the UK and Africa, providing greater accessibility to key destinations across the continent and the Indian Ocean.

With the introduction of two additional weekly departures, passengers will benefit from improved connections to a wide range of sought-after locations, including Zanzibar, Mombasa, and the Seychelles. The extended schedule also offers seamless onward travel to renowned safari hotspots such as Nairobi, Kilimanjaro, Dar es Salaam, Botswana, Victoria Falls, Johannesburg, Lusaka, and Cape Town.

Ethiopian Airlines operates this route using the state-of-the-art Airbus A350, ensuring a comfortable and modern travel experience. The existing service includes a brief touchdown in Geneva for one hour, with the additional flights set to operate via either Geneva or Marseille.

This expansion underscores Ethiopian Airlines’ commitment to enhancing international connectivity and providing UK travellers with more efficient and flexible travel options to Africa and beyond.
