Travelling with purpose, PURE ONE Travel strengthens its commitment to global impact through safe water, sanitation and hygiene initiatives.

PURE ONE Travel, the specialist travel company known for its curated and experience-led journeys, is proud to announce a new partnership with Just a Drop, the UK-based international charity focused on providing sustainable access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) for communities around the world.
This partnership marks a significant milestone in PURE ONE Travel’s ongoing mission to use tourism as a force for positive global change. By collaborating with Just a Drop, PURE ONE Travel will actively support projects that address the global water crisis, a challenge that continues to affect billions of people worldwide.
Despite progress in recent decades, access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene remains one of the most pressing global challenges:
- 695 million people globally do not have access to safe water — affecting 9% of the world’s population, or nearly 1 in 10 people
- 1.5 billion people lack access to adequate sanitation — impacting 18% of people globally, or almost 1 in 6 people
- 1.7 billion people do not have access to basic hygiene services — representing 21% of the global population, or just over 1 in 5 people
Lack of access to WASH services has far-reaching consequences for health, education, economic opportunity and gender equality; issues that Just a Drop works to address through long-term, community-led solutions.

Through this partnership, PURE ONE Travel will:
- Support Just a Drop’s WASH programmes by contributing a portion of travel booking revenues to help fund sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene projects in vulnerable communities
- Raise awareness of global water challenges by educating travellers and partners on the importance of safe water and hygiene access
- Empower travellers to make a difference, offering opportunities to contribute directly to life-changing water initiatives as part of their travel experience
“Travel has the power to transform lives, not only for travellers, but for communities around the world,” said PURE ONE Travel CEO Wesley Baker. “Partnering with Just a Drop allows us to directly support solutions to the global water crisis and ensure our journeys contribute to lasting, positive impact.”
Just a Drop is an international water charity working to improve access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene in some of the world’s most underserved communities. Operating across more than 30 countries, the organisation delivers sustainable, community-led WASH projects that improve health, enable education, and unlock economic opportunities for future generations.
PURE ONE Travel and Just a Drop share a long-term vision to expand their collaboration, deepen traveller engagement and demonstrate how responsible travel can play a vital role in tackling global challenges and supporting sustainable development worldwide.
